A little further takes you to the other renowned destinations of Dawlish, Torquay, Cockington, Paignton, Brixham and the fabulous Dart Estuary reached by steam railway to Kingswear and then ferry to Dartmouth.

For the more adventurous, the South West coast path can be taken in either direction (sturdy footwear required and steep in places towards Shaldon and Teignmouth!). Alternatively a bus can be taken in either direction from the top of the lane. Slightly further afield you come to Totnes, Dartmoor, Exeter and Exmouth (which can be reached by ferry from Starcross. This apartment is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Explore the sights and local attractions of Torquay, from the bustling seafront and harbour where there is a plethora of restaurants and bars. To the Princess Theatre which has a continual flow of amazing shows throughout the year. Children can enjoy Paignton Zoo, Model Village, Kents Cavern or just take a bucket and spade and build sandcastles on the beach. There is so much to see and do here. The beautiful quiet cove of Watcombe Beach is a 10 minute walk down through the woods right from the front door of your apartment. An invigorating walk home in the evening to then sit on the patio with a chilled glass of wine.
